Have you ever been in a situation and knew God was instructing you to leave it alone? Did you know deep inside He wanted you to let Him be your vindicator? You were convinced of this but somehow, you could not shake it; you couldn’t get over it, You just had to continue until you were satisfied that you got your point across. You had to prove you were right. Friend, the blessing you were praying for was essentially held up because of your persistence to strife. I’ve been there. I’ve climbed that mountain before and learned many lessons. The flesh wants to be right. The flesh insists on being right. God desires that we pursue righteousness, not the desire to be right. Pursuing (chasing) God’s righteousness determines our blessings and our gifts from Him. God has so many great things in store for us. However, He is waiting for some of us to get over our right to be right. Let it go; you will feel better. You will.
