Rejection! It’s time for you to let it go.

April 15, 20190

Today, if you are struggling with rejection, despite the pain, you must give God your all. Give it to Him today. My own experiences have taught me the importance of not letting rejection hold me hostage to the feelings and expectations placed upon me. Don’t be concerned about those who reject you or don’t accept your gift. Why? It’s a roadblock designed to be an emotional hindrance. It’s intended to discourage you, to get into your spirit and keep you from moving forward in the things of God. One thing I love about those who reject me is that they take me to a place in God where my friends can’t take me. They cause me to get on my knees and seek God even the more.

Stop trying to make it all make sense. It won’t. Some things just don’t make sense. If you let it, rejection will keep you running in circles. It will keep you up at night stressing, thinking… processing. What I love about Mary is that she was focused. Unbothered. Anointed. It takes the anointing to carry you when you are in the midst of rejection and unacceptance. She had to be focused because she was in a room filled with negativity, murmurings, and complaints; however, she pressed past it. Think about it. You know what it’s like to walk into a room with your heart in a good place. You begin to look around and hear side conversations and whispers. When you are dealing with people who find fault, prideful people, strong personalities, and demon-infested people who look for problems to criticize, you must wear spiritual armor to stay protected at all times.

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:14 -17 NIV).

At some point in your life, you will come face-to-face with rejection. The day that happens, you have a choice. Instead of taking revenge with words and physical weaponry, use the weapons that come directly from God. You must have power – the power to stand strong and to keep moving forward. In spite of what you’re up against (because it doesn’t matter what you’re up against), God plus one is the majority. If He is for you, who shall be against you?
