The Word! My Truth!

I stand on it. It is my absolute truth in all matters. I can’t live without it. It feeds me daily. Everything will fade away. All things will disappear, but this, I keep dear to my heart. It is so precious to me. I am made strong in weakness. Birthed from it is my confidence, character, and grace. It taught me to be strong and vigilant, lacking nothing. Each page I turn in faith comes alive in my life. I am captivated by amazing love and consumed by the faithfulness of the never changing truth. I sit in awe. It is still here. It is alive.
This Word, God’s Word, is truth. His Word will last forever. When faced with trials, it is the Word of God that is the piece to life’s complicated puzzle. It’s the Word of God that allows us to function and not give into defeat. We are reminded of who we are through the Word, and we are not defeated because of the power of the Word. Take a minute and recall the times when you were faced with a situation, and everyone you turned to for help was lost. No one had an answer. The word works.
