Hey Sis, ✨
What if the quiet seasons of your life aren’t meant for resting from prayer, but for storing it?
Late last night, I walked through my home in complete silence looking for my dental floss actually 😂 while my husband slept.
Sisters this thought settled in my spirit,
Peace is not permission to pray less. It’s an invitation to pray more.
When life is good, prayers are being answered, the bills are paid, relationships are healthy, and your heart is at rest, don’t mistake comfort for arrival. Those are the very moments to build your spiritual reserves.
Think of prayer as making deposits into heaven’s storehouse. You’re not praying because you’re in trouble, you’re praying because one day you may face a battle, and you’ll be grateful for every moment you spent in God’s presence before the storm ever appeared.
Too often we seek God for rescue. But the wise learn to seek Him for relationship.
The peaceful seasons are not a pause in your faith, they are preparation for your future. So don’t waste the quiet. Fill it with worship. Fill it with gratitude. Fill it with prayer.
Because when the winds change, you’ll discover that what sustained you in the storm was what you stored up in the stillness.
Tap the picture and join me this week August 3–7. Let’s spend five days seeking God together, one scripture, one prayer, and one moment of encouragement each day. It’s intentional and simple. I believe God has something special waiting for us.
Have an amazing week. 🤍
